Australian based menswear label Vanishing Elephant’s first shipment has just landed. It’s always a bit funny to work with Ozzie lines since their seasons work in the opposite direction – as our climate gets warmer, theirs get colder. This means everyone stocking Australian lines (for the most part) get the more summery pieces early in spring, and the heavier winter pieces in early fall.
Known for their quirky patterns and somewhat risqué colour choices, Vanishing Elephant always seem to offer some very classic pieces – of which I tend to be more drawn towards.
Highlights of the season include their surprisingly well priced suiting (Jackets under 350$), and these beautiful hand made woven paneled leather derbies below.
